This morning I had to call my energy providers to swap over our details at the new house. I also had to stay in to wait for the phone line to be sorted out. These are just the sort of jobs that can really frustrate me.
I was delighted with myself because I turned what could have been a stressful and unproductive morning into a really enjoyable experience. I put the phone on the speaker phone setting and put it down next to my yoga mat.
Whilst I was on hold and also whilst I was on the call I did some simple yoga moves! I really enjoyed the time I spent doing them and it also kept me warm. Perfect.
If you fancy giving this a go next time you find yourself waiting next to the phone try some simple Cat Cow stretches.
Get onto all fours, knees under your hips and wrists under your shoulders. Take an out breath and arch your back like a cat. Then take an in breath and round your back like a cow. By repeating this you really do loosen up your spine and start to warm your body up.
