This morning I had the BEST Mindful walk.
I arranged to meet my friend for a walk and she got stuck in traffic. So for about 40 minutes the dog and I wandered in the woods whilst we waited.
It was great because I didn’t want to get too far incase my friend arrived. So there was no rush, the opposite in fact. So I really did just wander.
I took time to look at the amazing trees, the intricate tracks and the beautiful surroundings. I made time to talk to other walkers. I just LOVED the experience.
Sometimes waiting for someone or something can give you the ideal opportunity to practise your mindfulness.
Next time you re waiting…. use the time to simply be present – you couldn’t make better use of the time if you tried.
Relaxation is everything.
