Mindfulness can be a difficult concept to grasp at first. Today Noah provided me with a great practical example of Mindfulness at work.
We went to the park and there was a wobble board. Noah was AMAING at balancing on it….so long as his focus was there. As soon as his mind started to wander from what he was doing he wobbled and fell off.
This was such good example of how our minds work. If we focus on something we can really achieve. If our mind drifts away from what we are doing then often we aren’t so successful.
If you have been struggling with the concept of Mindfulness them perhaps try this out. Try to balance on one leg. If you focus and concentrate you will be so much better than if your mind wanders. Notice the difference and then perhaps you will commit to more brain training!
