A while ago I read a minimalism blog about decluttering your mind. One of the tips was to get on and do things as you think of them rather than leaving them until later.
I suppose it’s a bit like the old saying ‘don’t put off for tomorrow things that you can do today’.
So I have been doing it – and it really does clear some headspace.
This morning I looked at the full dishwasher and I knew I needed to empty it. The school bus for Noah was in 10 minutes. I decided to get straight on with it rather than delay – even if I only got half way through i knew it would be worth it.
As it happened I finished it. So I had a clear mind and a clear dishwasher. Perfect!
Try this today. Each time you see a job that needs doing just get on and do it. You will feel positive and energised! I promise!
