Recently my absolutely lovely friend Hannah went away on a mini break with her man. She sent me this lovely photo just to say she was thinking of me.
It was such a lovely message to receive and it really made me appreciate what it is to have amazing friends. When she sent it to me we hadn’t seen each other for a few weeks and it meant the world just to get a little hello!
Just taking the time to let someone know that you are thinking of them really can make all the difference. It is so easy to be put off from contacting someone when you haven’t been in touch for a while but don’t be discouraged. Telling someone that you are thinking of them really will make their day brighter. Your day will be better for it too. Thinking of someone else if only for a minute of two really does take your mind from your own anxieties.
So give it a try. During your day tomorrow seek out an opportunity to send someone a thoughtful message. You really will feel better for it.
