Last weekend I went to The Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire.
I did 6 sessions of yoga, plenty of Meditation, danced to all sorts of music, dressed up lots of times, sang to Murakami Karaoke, listened to talks on writing novels and travelling…..and came away totally inspired.
Strangely my inspiration was not to change things, or to write a novel or even to travel – it was to carry on the way I am going, LOVING my life.
It confirmed my total yoga and meditation addiction, inspired me to carry on practising both even MORE! I felt so amazing after a weekend of immersing myself in it.
Sometimes getting away from everyday life for a while can make clear the things we most appreciate.
I missed my family, our puppy, the comfort of our house (we were camping) and also bing able to cook my own healthy food.
So this week I have been loving all of those things more than EVER!
The Wilderness experience enhanced my appreciation of life so much – in just 4 nights away I gained masses! AMAZING how our point of view can be fine tuned into appreciation time and time again.
