Today I was tired. I had a couple of late nights over the weekend and when I sat to Meditate this morning I was very aware of my fatigue.
So, rather than using my lunch break to exercise as I often do, I decided to have a proper rest.
So I meditated again for 10 Minutes. I set the time on my phone. Then I let myself drift off for 30 minutes. The combination of a Meditation then going into a sleep was just perfect.
I woke feeling so refreshed, calm and balanced.
I was lucky because I was at home working today so I had the facility to do this. If you feel that you can’t try it at work then maybe do it straight away on your return home. Or at the weekend. It made the world of difference to how I felt and to the remainder of my day.
Giving your Mind and Body some time off is really important. Mindful living is all about listening to your body and learning to recognise when you need a break.
