Those of you who know me well, through my blog, or through real life, will know my relatively recent love affair with coffee. For a while now every drink whilst out has been a coffee, many at home too. Like anything new it has seemed to be the be all and end all.
My new habit has required quite a lot of thought in recent times because I have been working shifts. Working out when the caffeine needs to stop in order to allow a daytime sleep to happen is quite a skill! Also recognising when one more is too much.
However, I have released that my new found love of coffee temporarily blinded me from my long term love of tea.
Red Bush, De caff green tea and peppermint are firm favourites of mine. In my busy and demanding life there is certainly room for both.
Whilst coffee brings that bright and alert state of mind tea fits perfectly with relaxation. A cup of tea can be such a Mindful experience.
Taking time to wait for the water to boil…
Smelling the amazing infusion process as the water soaks the leaves…
Waiting for the drink to cool…
and then finally savouring that taste
…TOTALLY AMAZING TEA!
