This morning I took my car in for its service and MOT. Strangely this led to the most lovely morning!
I put my running gear on and came back across the fields. It was beautiful.
The sun was shining and everywhere looked AMAZING! I decided to take it easy and really enjoy my time out. I ran when it suited and then stopped and walked for a while when I felt like it.
I really noticed how taking it easy physically allowed my mind to unwind too. By the time I got home I felt totally chilled and on top of the world!
Exercise really does help us to feel good. One thing I have had to learn is that pushing it to the max. is not always the best way.
Sometimes taking your foot of the pedal and really enjoying being out goes you so much more.
