This morning my friend Rachel messaged me to say she was free for the morning and did I fancy doing something.
I messaged back and said ‘welcome at mine for coffee or can meet you out’ and then 2 seconds later I sent another ‘how about a bike ride’…
She replied saying she needed an easy day and was coffee at mine ok. This totally made me smile.
I have this tendency to be always on the go. I LOVED the fact she was so honest and just said she wanted to chill. I always want to do stuff but having a friend say that they just wanted to relax was just what I needed!
I am the worlds BEST at telling other people to take it easy and to look after themselves. I actually love it when other people do the same for me.
What I need to keep working on is telling myself to take it easy!
But then so does Rachel, when she came over she had a full on to do list for the rest of her day!
We all need to chill more.
