This morning we all woke up late. 10am! I couldn’t believe it. For the past few days Noah has been waking me up at 7am so when Martyn told me the time I was amazed, and delighted.
After a really busy week a lie in was just perfect.
So after a cup of tea I set off to do the horses and the sun came out to warm me up. I really enjoyed walking up and down the field doing the jobs.
After that I went back to our house, had a coffee and tended the open fire. PERFECT.
It got me thinking about the importance of using our days off to relax and to enjoy our surroundings. It can be really tempting to fill our free days with going out and being busy but actually enjoying where we live and what we have around us can be so much more enjoyable and relaxing.
We all have such hectic lives and a bit of good quality time off really makes all the difference to how we feel and how we cope with the busy week ahead.
If relaxing is a challenge for you then Meditation and Mindfulness coaching may really help you. Come on a Revitalise session to see how it could get you totally chilled out.
