Today was our Sunday Chill Session. It was a really lovely morning.
There were 17 people all doing Yoga and then Meditation together.
There was an Amazing feeling being part of a group relaxing together. We were all focussed on our own practise but somehow I felt a real joint sense of calm and strength from being with the group.
In both Yoga and Meditation the benefit form being in a group comes from the commitment that this adds to the session.
Alone you may try and commit your Sunday morning to relaxation but the liklihod of you sticking with it is much less than if you actually make an arrangement with a group.
Once a group session has begun it becomes much easier to settle your mind to sticking with the session and getting the most out of the time that you have dedicated.
