This morning I did my Meditation and then I put my headphones on and went for my run.
I listened to the radio and took it easy. It was total morning of ‘Me Time’. A morning of looking after and appreciating my health.
I had no time limit and no one else to think of. It felt like a total break from everything.
I always enjoy getting out in the fresh air and doing it first thing in the morning works best for me.
Because I did my Meditation first I appreciated it even more. It helped me to keep it steady, I felt no need to rush.
Try starting your day by doing something that is good for you. You will feel great for having made the effort. Your body and mind will thank you for some TLC.
Looking after yourself at the start of the day means that you will have more capacity to look after others later on. So be selfish for a short while and then see how much you have to give.
A total win, win situation!
