Today Noah and I went on a ROAD TRIP.
We drove about 2 hours to see our friends in the Derbyshire Dales.
As we were on our way it rained. Noah said it was a shame that the sun wasn’t shining.
I said maybe it was a good thing that it was raining. We were in the car and we were seeing beautiful countryside without getting wet. It still looked great, the rain wasn’t that heavy.
Had it been sunny then we would have been wishing we were outside enjoying it more. So maybe the rain was perfect. Rain can be a good thing!
Noah accepted that answer and enjoyed the drive.
When we arrived the sun came out and we had fun outside. Amazing!
Worrying about the weather is such a common anxiety. By accepting the weather as it comes we are training ourselves in Mindfulness. By seeing the plus side in the weather you can add some positivity too!
Mindfulness and positivity are both habits – start to today and soon they could be second nature.
