Keeping on top of my diary is one of the biggest challenges for me. Recently I have been trying to be more minimalist in everything I do.
I work night shifts now and if i’m not careful I end up missing out on sleep all together.
So my new plan is that on the mornings where I worked the night before I do some gentle exercise and after lunch go back to bed to catch up on sleep.
Having this as my target means I need to keep my afternoons free so that I can keep the sleep time sacred. It really is essential.
Unless you work odd hours you may find it difficult to reserve time just for rest. However, everyone needs to chill out. We really can not keep going at super high speed all of the time.
So look at your diary today and mark in a couple of sessions where the time is reserved just for your relaxation. I find it amazingly liberating – see if you do too!
