This morning I sat in the sunshine to do my Meditation. It was SO lovely and warm.
I started in the usual way by focussing on my breath. Noticing the rising and falling sensation that the breath made in my body.
Then I became aware of the amazing warmth on my skin.
I focussed on that sensation of warmth for the length of my Meditation. It was AMAZING. And SO relaxing. Each time my mind wandered I came back to that feeling of warmth.
As I focussed on the feeling of warmth I stayed interested in where the sensation was strongest.
Naturally my attention moved round my body and each area relaxed in turn. I felt so much comfort from it.
It really felt as though the sun was nourishing me. It soaked right through my skin and warmed my body through.
Afterwards I felt like i’d been on holiday. It was like those lovely moments you sometimes experience on a beach, in the sun when you are totally relaxed and the real world seems a million miles away.
The great thing was I was at home, I did’t have to travel anywhere and I felt just as removed!
