For the last couple of days we have been moving house. Luckily for us we are only moving up the road and there is no big rush to be out of the old house.
The down side to this is the endless trips up and down the road. Even when I have been walking between the 2 houses it has seemed like I should carry as much as possible. Exhausting!
So today as I was walking up the hill to the new house I mentally came back to the present moment and realised how special the experience was.
Hopefully we will not move house again. This is IT. Our dream house.
So however hard the work involved we should appreciate the whole thing. I smiled to myself as I walked up the hill. This made everything better.
Mindfulness really can make us smile. Just coming back to the present moment is enough to make a change.
