This week I have been taking advantage of the free gym passes that are being offered to encourage people to get fit in the new year. I have been to two different gyms over the last couple of days and have done spinning classes at both.
I used to be a member of a gym but decided to give it up when I changed jobs. Spinning was something I really enjoyed but for ages it just hasn’t appealed. This week however, I have LOVED it!
Just going to the gyms and seeing other people dedicating their time to fitness and well being has given me a real boost. Seeing others participating and enjoying exercise has a massively motivational impact on me, I feel drawn in. I find the same happens with Meditation.
When I go on Meditation retreats or even organise and deliver sessions I get a huge amount of motivation from being part of it.
Knowing that everyone is in the same place and committed to the same activity and benefit is amazing.
