This afternoon I offered to look after my sister’s baby girl whilst she popped out.
She was tired and crying and so I put her in her pushchair and went for a walk in the sunshine.
To try and get her to sleep I walk and walked up the road, her mood improved, she smiled lots….but never went to sleep!
I was completely overdressed and boiling hot in a jumper, the sun was shining brightly. I stopped at a bench, state down and closed my eyes.
I sat and Meditated, just for a minute. I focussed on my breath and sat there until I felt it was slow, steady and rhythmical again. I also cooled down.
As I walked back down the hill my head was full of positive thoughts about how beautiful the world looked and how lucky I am to have such a close family.
Meditation really does clear some headspace, and leave room for more appreciation!
