Today My mum and I went to town together.
We had a lovely time, laughed a lot as we tried to choose glasses and also…talked about MINDFULNESS!
My mum also Meditates every day and we were discussing how beneficial find it. We are both fans of guided Meditation.
We have both used the Headspace app a lot over the last few years and we were discussing how repetition is such a good thing.
I remember the first time I had completed all of the Headspace packs – I wondered whether to renew my subscription. And I went without it for a while.
I totally missed it and realised I wanted it back in my life.
And now I have realised the absolute benefit of REPETITION.
The first time you do an exercise you are listening hard…
you are concerned about getting it right…
you are absorbed by learning what to do.
The more times you do it the more natural it becomes and the more able you are to simply enjoy the experience.
So if you have a recorded Meditation that you have used before don’t be afraid to repeat and repeat often.
Repeating the exercise will lead to more relaxation. More relaxation will lead to more enjoyment and more overall benefit.
