Today we had the BEST BBQ! It was very Mindful.
I have this habit of inviting way too many people when we have a BBQ. The main reason I do this is because I love a good get together. The trouble with this plan is that the BBQ ends up being a lot of work and actually this limits the time I have to enjoy the company of others.
But today was different…
Instead just Martyn, Noah and I prepared and enjoyed our BBQ together. Having had a week apart whist Noah and I were on holiday it was great to be back together and enjoying some time just for us.
Noah and I made the most amazing Kebab sticks with prawns and vegetables. They were delicious and we had good fun making them together.
We all sat and enjoyed the sunshine and really valued that there was no need to rush. We took our time and enjoyed it to the full.
Just taking the time to be with each other and to enjoy our delicious food made for a really mindful meal time.
