This morning I was talking to my friend John over coffee. He brought up Mindfulness and was telling me about his evening affirmation habit.
Before bed he is thankful for everything that has happened during the day. Then he affirms to himself that he will have a restful and rejuvenating sleep and that he will wake between 6.45 and 7.15 ready for a productive day. Sure enough it happens just as he affirms!
This conversation totally inspired me. The power of this positivity is amazing. I am going to try it tonight. I don’t have trouble sleeping but I love the idea of using my mind to make things happen as I would like.
Our body and minds are connected so closely. Using this connection to make things happen as we want is such a logical and amazing step to take.
