Today I was out on my bike. I met my friend Rachel for coffee and then rather than just heading home I decided that I might just keep cycling some more!
The weather was gorgeous and I was just LOVING being out. I decided to call in and see if another friend, Elaine, was home. We caught up and then I carried on cycling!
I ended up being out all afternoon.
The thought struck me, as I was cycling along, that I was loving it so much because I felt so FREE. I had no where I had to be and the bike meant I could go where I wanted.
So I had practical freedom from the bike, and It gave me mental freedom too – some real head space.
When life is full of commitments it is so easy to feel trapped and mentally exhausted. Making time for a free day every now and then is an amazing way to add a real break to real life.
Give it a go and remember what it’s feels like to go where you want.
Experience some FREEDOM.
