This evening Noah set about making his Nanna a Birthday card for tomorrow.
He concentrated so hard for about 15 minutes. He did a love;y picture of a toadstool on the front of the card and then really focussed on his writing and making the inside of the card look lovely too.
We have done a lot of drawing together over the last few months and tonight I really appreciated how much he has developed. His skill in drawing shapes has improved but also his ability to concentrate for longer periods of time.
By repeating his drawing practise most evenings he has taken huge steps in his development.
At a young age this is really visible, but as grown ups we too can benefit from repeated periods of practise.
Choosing a skill to develop in this way can be really rewarding. Once you see your progress begin to show you feel good about yourself and inspired to continue.
By working on focus and attention you will train your brain in concentration too so you will see benefits in all areas of your life.
If brain training is something that sparks an interest in you then book onto a Revitalise Session. The difference will become apparent quite quickly if you are willing to invest a little time and effort.
