Today something really mundane made me excited….
It was a new on stick frying pan.
Since I went on my MS recovery diet 5 years ago I haven’t fried anything because I don’t cook with fat. Today I found a pan that means you can fry without any oil or butter. AMAZING.
So when Noah got home from school (still in the Trove Tuesday spirit) we had the best rice flour pancakes. He was delighted.
Topped with fruit and agave syrup they were perfect.
Healthy food really can be delicious and can make you feel great.
I find that because we have to work harder to find delicious treats to eat we love them even more.
Being mindful about your food preparation and appreciating the different techniques you can use to make different things is great.
When you get a thrill from the cooking you love the end product even more. When you value what you eat you might find you eat more slowly and maybe prevent yourself over eating.
See how it works for you.
