Last week my sister made me some wrist warmers. She knitted them using her new found skill – Crochet!
My sister has a very hectic lifestyle. With two young children and a challenging job, life is very full. So to think that she took the time to make me a present was amazing, it made the wrist warmers even more special!
I realised that actually doing the crochet is a way for her to relax. By applying her mind completely to this activity she is able to quiet the other thoughts that would usually be buzzing through her head.
So it was a totally Mindful present. It gave her peace of mind to make it, and I felt super special as the recipient.
