All habits can slip. Fact.
But it is totally possible to get back on track.
One of the most common times for a Meditation habit to slip is holiday time. Just an awareness of this can be enough to help.
Next week is half term and for me this means that my husband, and little boy Noah, will both be at home in the day. This is when I usually fit my Meditation in.
So thinking ahead, I am coming up with a few tactics to keep me on track – I know it is SO worth it!
1) I shall take a minute whenever I get chance – In a way when time is more limited it can really make me seize the moment and settle down to it.
2) I shall make a plan at the start of every day as to when I am going to get it done and really try to stick to it.
3) I shall make sure at the end of every Meditation that I pause and take note of just how much better I feel – this means the i will continue to prioritise my sessions!
4) And finally – I shall see if Martyn and Noah want to join in – there is nothing I love more than when we Meditate together!
If you have a busy time coming up then making a plan can help in terms of prioritising the things that keep you well. Give it a go and feel the difference.
