Today we went for a family walk in Swithland Woods. It was SO beautiful.
My niece Connie was with us and her little legs forced us to take things more slowly than we otherwise would have.
I love to run and on other occasions a slow walk would irritate me, but today I loved it. It gave us time to talk and play and also to appreciate the beauty that we were surrounded by.
We all get used to rushing through life but children can provide us with the perfect reason to slow down and to appreciate our company and our surroundings.
The great thing about Mindfulness is that it is something you can apply and enjoy when you are on the go.
