This morning I had a really busy schedule.
I had to be at a local school for a Mindfulness session at 8.30 having sorted Noah out and left him with my mum. I knew the rest of my day was action packed too so I needed to be organised.
It has taken me a while to realise, but I know that in order to be happy with myself, and to have the best day possible, I need to have done 2 things.
1) Some exercise.
2) Some meditation.
So this morning despite being short on time I got up and did both.
I didn’t get up super early, I needed my sleep too. So at 7 I went downstairs, put the porridge on for 15 minutes in the microwave, went for a 9 minute run, did 6 minutes of meditation, and then showered and dressed whilst the breakfast cooled down.
I felt amazing for it!
Even if you think you don’t have much time for your wellbeing, be assured you can do it. All you need is a few minutes and some self awareness.
Little and often is the best way, whether you are exercising your body or your brain, so never be put off by a lack of time.
